What’s Social Speed Puzzling?

Love puzzles? Then, step up to our social speed puzzling challenge at Ponfeigh Distillery in Somerset, Pa. Speed puzzling is an exciting twist on traditional jigsaw puzzles. The focus of our event is not only on completing the puzzle as quickly as possible but also on having fun with friends and family!

We’re inviting puzzle enthusiasts to join us on Saturday, October 19th, to embrace the puzzling challenge and help us raise funds for metastatic breast cancer research. Also, we’ll announce the plans for our 2025 MBC Sisters bike trek(s). In 2024, we completed the Katy Trail in Missouri.

Here’s how OUR SOCIAL SPEED PUZZLING works

Get your team of four puzzlers together.
Register for the social speed puzzle competition.
Team registration is $120.
Join us on Saturday, October 19th, 2024 at 12:30 PM.
Location: Ponfeigh Distillery 893 Stoystown Road, Somerset, Pa. 15501
Prizes are awarded to the top three correct finishing teams. See Official Rules for details. Note: No outside tools or implements can be used to move pieces or to complete the puzzle.

The first 20 teams to register receive a Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup Halloween-themed plushie.

LIVE MUSIC

During the derby, enjoy live entertainment featuring the music of solo looping artist Danny Spec.

Wine Pull

At the event, guests can participate in our wine pull by purchasing wine pull “corks” for $5 each, $10 for three corks, or $25 for ten corks. All wine bottle labels are concealed and are from Sister Sojourn adventure locations. When a “cork” is pulled by random drawing, the winner chooses from the displayed selection of disguised wines. Regardless of luck, the winners go home with a delicious bottle of wine! (Cash only for cork purchases.)

$5 Puzzle PICK-uP

We have more than 50 puzzles donated to support our fundraising effort. You can bring a puzzle to donate (please verify that all pieces are included) and receive an extra raffle ticket or wine pull cork. All guests can browse our collection and pick up puzzles for just $5 each.

Extra raffle/Silent Auction tickets

Everyone who participates gets a raffle/silent auction ticket, but additional tickets can be purchased to increase your chances of winning some great prizes. Extra tickets are $2 each.

Prizes

First Prize: $300 cash, a 1000-piece puzzle, and four Live Generously t-shirts.

Second Prize: $200 cash and four Live Generously t-shirts.

Third Prize: $100 cash and four Live Generously t-shirts.

LIMITED-EDITION PUZZLE

Each team receives a limited-edition puzzle.

Spectators Welcome

If you have friends or family members who would like to attend in addition to your 4-person team, you can add them to your registration. If you are a spectator not associated with a 4-person team, please register below.

Spectator Tickets are $25 each and include a food ticket, a beverage ticket, a dessert ticket, and a raffle ticket. Place the spectator total on the donation line.
