Teams are composed of up to four (4) individuals.
No changes will be allowed during the competition.
Team members work together to complete the puzzle.
Spectators may not provide physical or verbal help to any teams during the competition. Teams that receive outside assistance are disqualified.
No outside tools or implements (including headlamps) can be used to move pieces or to complete the puzzle.
The competition will consist of one round. When the winner is acknowledged, all teams must stop the progress until the winner is confirmed.
The first team to complete the puzzle is the overall winner. Puzzle completion is indicated by the team captain raising/waving the team’s flag and calling the team’s name when the puzzle is complete.
Second and third places are determined by the second and third puzzle-finishing teams, as indicated by the team captain raising/waving the team’s flag and calling the team name.
If no winner is confirmed by the end of the competition, the judges will count and record the number of pieces completed, counting only the groups of 3 or more pieces correctly assembled.
Only duly appointed judges can note the finishing times, order of puzzle completion, and number of completed pieces. The decision of the judges is final.
Prizes will be awarded to the top three finishing teams or the teams with the most completed pieces at the conclusion of the event.
All teams can remain in the competition area to complete their
puzzle if desired.
