I had my dancing shoes on and ready when I received the email that the lab results from this week were ready to view in the portal. But there will be no happy dance this week. My AST increased by 60, to the highest it has been, and my ALT only decreased by 15. Ugh, how can that be? They were both trending downward last week. I have been off Kisqali and Letrozole for weeks; why aren’t the numbers dropping?
After talking with the doctor, it was decided that I would proceed with a liver biopsy scheduled for February 13. Maybe not dance-worthy, but a quick jig is that I can restart Letrozole since they don’t feel it is causing the liver problem. Restarting Letrozole gives me a sense of control; I am now back to fighting this disease.
If I can’t do the happy dance for my liver numbers, I can for my Wordle numbers. I just played my 719th game, and my current Wordle word streak is 121. How’s that for numbers increasing in the right direction? Now that I just posted my streak for all to see, I will probably miss the word tomorrow.
Keep your fingers crossed that tomorrow I am doing the happy dance because my Wordle word streak continues. There is always something to celebrate.
